About DaMaC

Our Vision

A Uganda where every vulnerable individual, family, and community has the opportunity to live with dignity, empowerment, and hope for a better tomorrow.

Our Mission

To inspire hope to the most vulnerable communities in Uganda through sustainable development initiatives and compassionate outreach.

DaMaC is a community-based nonprofit organization founded in April 2021 by Mr. Dan Magandazi. Initially known as Dan Hope Foundation (DHF), we officially changed our name to DaMaC on September 18, 2024, when we received certification from the Uganda Registration Services Bureau.

Our approach is rooted in compassion and respect for local cultures and traditions. We collaborate with community leaders to identify specific needs and implement sustainable solutions that create lasting impact.

Christmas Charity Outreach 2024

For Christmas 2024, DaMaC extended a heartwarming outreach to newborn babies and mothers at Wakiso Health 4 in Wakiso District. As part of our ongoing mission to inspire hope to vulnerable communities, we recognized the importance of ensuring that even the most basic needs are met during the season of giving.

  • Provided baby bedsheets to 50 newborns
  • Distributed essential food packages to mothers
  • Offered emotional support during the festive season
  • Built relationships with healthcare providers for future collaboration

The event was filled with smiles and joy, as beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the timely assistance. This outreach served as a powerful reminder of the importance of community support, especially during the festive season when many families are in need.
